I was reading a thread in this group regarding trailer tires but I noticed no one made mention of Maxxim Tires. I have them on my Jayco and they have worked very well. Anyone else have experience with them... . Good or bad???

No clue but they are advertised in Trailer Life. I need to replace the tires on my car hauler and was considering them. I've had Carlisles on the hauler for 7 years now without fail but have read too many horror stories on them.

have 6 of them

I replaced the stock ones F/R had on my TH with Maxxis. Towed to arkansas and around Az, and s/cal.

No problems thus far.

Ed

PS: Its made in Tiawan, as Jkinney says below.

LOL... Home of the rubber tree! Home of the 3cents an hour worker.

Don't know where they are made, but was considering a set of them until I found out that the nearest dealer to me is in Nebraska. Nothing wrong with Nebraska, but it hardly makes sense to drive 300 miles to get tires. I do have a sister-in-law down there though.

Honey, do you want to go see your sister for Christmas?? :-laf

My trailer came w/ Maxxis. The trailer pulls nice, tires are kept inflated to spec, they run cool, no problems here. The trailer did not come w/spare, so I ordered a white spoke wheel(match trailer) and a Maxxis ST radial from my local America's Tire Store(Discount Tire).

Tom. :)
