Working on a schedule now. Also on locations for events.

Terrible Herbst's Lakeside RV park has a nice central lake with spaces around it. Relatively narrow paved pads, but OK. About 4 miles from Rt. 160 and the dealership. Spaces about $19 weekends, couple bucks less weekdays.

Saddle West RV park is all paved, good for b. o. m. b. ers who want to work on their Rams. No water spots on the chrome because they don't have any grass to water. Also, it is located on Rt. 160 near the Dealership, etc. (do get more road noise, though). They have a convention center, and are looking into accommodating our Hall of Gottahavits, tech talks etc. with it. Their hotel is sold out already. RV spaces $18 including breakfast buffet. They have ample parking, and will try to accommodate any overflow with dry camping if need be.

Terrible Herbst's Lakeside RV park

We are going here with a spot on the lake already reserved. That is part of the reason we got a "rear living room"  instead of a "rear kit. "

Those who have gone to MM in the past know that the Willards help out with registration, etc. I'm real glad they can come again this year. The Simerly's likewise are a huge help, and I hope they can come. I may stay at the Saddle West because it is closer to the dealer, and the pavement is more conducive to hood-up "conversations and quality time with the Ram" :D

You will have to call and see about the pool access at Saddle West. I think the lake is what they use for water sports at the Lakeside, but call them. If you call, post it here, so they don't get 200 calls asking the same thing, and think we are brain dead from diesel fumes

best park to beat the heat?

Let me suggest a park in Alaska ;) actually first of May shouldn't be too hot and evenings will be nice.

pool lake dirt parking is bad for me

both have paved parking

remimber the wind last year

that was just a breeze, have you tried the old May Madness venue at Carson City--they had WIND

showers on site store on site

Both, on site or very close

have enough room to extend awning

both, lakeside will put your chairs in grass not pavement

not close to mail noisy roads

Lakeside probably quieter

not sure what you mean JOE D

neither am I :D

does one place have dirt roads and the other concreat /blk top

both are paved, Lakeside has grass between, Saddle W is all paved

hows the lake at the lake side park?

its got water in it  good size too.

are their pull throughs?

both places

pets allowed

didn't check, but I know pet Rams are allowed

my Lakeside flyer says 2 pets, on leash, not at pool therefore they must have a pool

flat ground trees

most trees I know about are perpendicular to the ground; I don't understand your question

thats it please post who has what

Please excuse the sarcasm and sick humor  Bill and I have talked at some length and he understands my sense of humor.

must be all that cam oil

joe , maybe enough wind so we can sail fish! on the lake

but i didn't see a truck lift joist anywhere

are you seeing that they do this!!

they did say whats this diesel group called

we are getting a lot of calls

whos sending tthem the gas MASKS, bill

The few times it rains here, we get a puddle in the street in front of the house. I call it Lake Donnelly :D

Sorry, the only hoists are at the dealership. Try not to grenade anything

Not sure yet about the dyno days location. If the portable Dynojet isn't available, and given the likelihood of sunshine, we might opt for indoors dyno'ing. Diesel Dynamics is a likely location.

You must be referring to the dyno room with adjacent office space and injector room. Yes, they have more space now--that place and the big corner shop/offices too. I don't know when they added the space, more than a year ago.

I don't have a camper or trailer, but I can bring a tent. Does anyone know if either of these RV parks Joe listed would scream if I rented an RV space and put up my tent?

Sorry Joe I guess I wasn't paying attention. I helped you wash a years supply of bugs off Old Sickly before I guess I can help again. LOL What should we tear apart this year to keep those overvalved guys at bay? :D

Quick question:

When exactly is MM?

Blair, do the 70mph bugs wash off as easily as the 120+mph bugs? (assuming Sickly has enough HP for that sort of velocity) ;)

Vaughn
