I'll be taking I-40 from Amarillo on. I'm not sure of our departure date, but most likely not until 14 May. If I change plans, I'll let you know. Are you wanting to caravan?

Our tentative plans are to leave here on the 13th. Stay over that night at American RV Park in Albequerque and arrive in Vegas on the 14th. Was thinking I might need to put my CB in the truck in case I ran into any TDR members on the way.

We'll be leaving the Four Corners area the 13th and heading to Arizona Charlies. Maybe we'll see you on the way there. A CB sounds like a good idea.

Just looked at the schedule and map again. Think we'll leave out on the 12th and spend the night in Albe. then maybe stay over on the 13th in Flagstaff. That way I won't have to push it so hard. I feel sorry for any gassers staying at Az. Charlie's at the same time we are. You know, the ones that are always belly aching and whining in the RV mags about not liking the sound of diesels. It's bound to be a living hell for them #ad

I'm still debating the location and mounting technique for my CB. I hope to have it installed in time for the trip. I miss not having it, as I had it in my Y2K.

I do have the 48" whips on, just need the CB hooked up.

If I do, I'll be searching for some TDR ears on the way! #ad

Typo on first post:: Dep. Albuquerque the 13th not the 12th

Figured to caravan. We will be spending the nite of the 13th in Flagstaff or Williams and head on into AZ Charlies afternoon of the 14th. Get squared away on the 15 and eLL bent for leather on the 16th.
I am going to Las Vegas, NV on 4-20 and will check out the facilities at Flagstaff and Williams for the May Madness trip.

I will be headed through Brady tomorrow en route to Temple.

Ok Uncle I give...

I'm in NM and don't have a clue what Arizona Charlies is. Is it because I don't own a 5th wheel yet? What am I missing?

I know I'll miss May madness, but I have 2 days fishing reserved for Apache Golden Trout in the White Mountains of AZ on Wed-Fr.

Dang, I've been away from the board fighting my throttle cable replacement. Wish I would have caught you coming through, I would have offered to buy you lunch. Let us know of a good RV park in Flagstaff. I haven't had a chance to really look into it yet.

Hey fellow rammers. We stayed at Williams last June on our way to Phoenix. The park is on the North side of the interstate up on a little hill. Nice place,I would stay there again. Diesel is Very expensive at the station beside the park. Okie

Last time I was up that way (I40), deisel was the cheapest in Kingman (after you take the Vegas turn-off.

TO ALL going to MM. The turnoff is on the WEST side of Kingman (I-40),= BEALE ST. Turn right at the bottom of the offramp. There is a T/A truck stop on your left, just a 1/4 mile from the offramp. Fuel is as cheap as you'll find in those parts. DON'T go to the truckers islands, go to the CAR island, right in front of the building. The fuel is cheaper at the car island. When you pull out of the T/A, turn left and follow the signs. CAUTION!! The Arizona ST Poolice run unmarked Camaros with dark tinted windows and mag wheels! Ask me, I know all about it. #ad

You need to as they are going to be crowded and don't have many spots left.
