Maybe I need a third gen.... is this a good deal?

Hey guys,

I have been looking at slightly used 2nd gen trucks because of the good prices, but then I called my local dealer and talked to a salesman. He said he could put me in this truck: Window Sticker for $34,000. I have about $3000 in cash and a car worth around $2000 on trade so that could get it down to around $29,000. What kind of deals have you 3rd gen guys been getting? Is this pretty good or do I need to talk him down some more? Are there any options on the truck that are unneeded or are there any I definitely do need that it doesn't have? Thanks.

CStansbury, I can't open the window sticker, but can tell you that a reasonable deal is to take 10. 5% off the sticker price. That will get you to invoice (or real close) Dealer still has about $1200 after that to negotiate if they want to. Hope that helps.
