Don't laugh to hard. I just like to know, what will need to be change, if you want to make 01 engine same like 03 ? And, if will be possible do this upgrade ?

Lots of $$$$. If you got enough $$$$ to do it this way you got enough to buy new truck. They is a big difference in this one and the one I started with in 91>95-lot better>98-better>00-better +++>03-it don't get much better than this. These are just my opinions with the ones I have had.

I never ask for price, my interest was which parts you will need,if you want to change 01 engine to 03 engines.

Did anyone see Two Guys Garage a few weeks ago? They had a cut away HO CTD. Looking at it, I'd say a new motor is what you need to get the 01 motor like an 03. Very different internal parts for the oil cooled pistons... Among other things like fuel rail, etc.

It's 40% new parts (or was it 60%?). I don't think the heads are interchangeable either. The bottom end is stiffened up with an oil pan or mains girdle or something. Like the Cummins had a problem with weak bottom ends

The block itself is different. Don't even bother trying. It'd be a complete engine swap, and you'd have to deal with all the supporting computers as well.
