MBRP exhaust installed today

I had my MBRP 409-stainless installed today. The only problem the shop had was they had to cut down the extension pipe about 20 inches to fit correctly. I like the sound,a little more rumble then stock and no droneOo. I also noticed my EGT. s were down 40-50 degrees when I would mash the go pedal on the floor:-laf coobie.

Mine is the quad cab,that is why my shop had to cut the extension pipe 20 inches. From what MBRP customer service told me you have to cut the exhaust on the quad cab models and not the long box. I ordered mine from Xtreme Diesel (1-888-343-7354)The exhaust part #mbs6104409. It also came with a angled 304 stainless exhaust tip for the $517. 96 price. coobie

I have the cool dools mbrp exhaust on my truck, my truck is a quad cab also. I did not have to cut anything. They included an extrension pipe for quad cab, long bed models however I did not have to use it. I wonder why yours is different?

Kit comes with pipe long enough for a QC LWB truck. QC SWB and and Regular cabs have to do some cutting. Quality system... ... . I also got mine from Extreme Diesel.

I just put on the MBRP muffler and cat delete. The truck seems to have picked up The front of the truck comes up fast now

Now that you have had time to live with your new exhaust, how do you like it? Any issues with drone or volume?
