MBRP Factory Tour and Truck Show - Sept 12, 2014

Hey Ontario,

It is official! We have booked MBRP Performance Exhaust as a tour for the chapter! We will drive up in convoy, have a show and shine at MBRP, we will have the owner, managers, and engineers on hand to answer our questions, we will have full access to their garage, and there will even be a BBQ lunch! Best of all, the folks at MBRP are willing to tour us THROUGH their factory and allow us all to see how some of the best aftermarket exhaust is made: start to finish! :drool2:

It will be on Friday September 12th and we plan to be up to the shop in Huntsville by 10:30.

To add some fun to this, we thought we would do a group convoy with a few meet up points so we can all converge together and work our way up the 400 and then up 11.

As is the case, I need a RSVP list so I can see who is coming from where. This way we can create a few meeting points.

When I put a MBRP on my truck I was on vacation in Florida. Ordered it free shipping from Kentucky, to Florida and installed it. Purchase price was almost half of what it was at home..........later I found out they were made not that far from home. LOL
Would be an interesting tour

Yes, it is a pretty neat facility! And I was a bit amazed myself when I found out where they were located when I first started dealing with them! And only a few hours from you!

Hey Folks,

OK, so we have our updated schedule for this Friday:

The main convoy will proceed north from Highway 9 and Highway 400 car park at 8:45 sharp. As it is about 1.5 hour drive to Huntsville/MBRP, this will put us there just after 10:00 am. The car park is located on the South West corner of the intersection.


Once we arrive, MBRP will then tour us through their facility. They did ask that I mention no open toe shoes are allowed in the facility during operation hours due to safety concerns. After the tour, the BBQ will be in full swing and we will have access to their shop/retail outlet/showroom as well. Anticipated departure from MBRP will be 2:00 or shortly after as we do not want to overstay our welcome.

For those coming from the west, Ontario TDR VP Shawn will lead a caravan to the main meet point by the 400 where you will join the main group. The meet up spot for this will be as follows with a 7:00 am departure:

As a side note, please ensure your tank is filled prior to the cruise. No one wants to be "that guy" who runs out of fuel mid trip. I can assure you there would be photos of said incident and you may find photos of the incident in several places.
