Maybe 9-10 years ago I installed an MBRP 5" tail pipe system and later installed a 4" MBRP muffler. Has done great till about 3 months ago I developed a rattle in the rear of my truck. Couple weeks ago I climbed under the truck and gave it a good inspection and found my muffler in the rear of it had developed a full crack in it all the way around where the tail pipe was welded. Muffler shop also found a 1/2 way crack in the front. He welded both and I took photos. After contacting MBRP and supplying old and installation photos they agreed to ship me a new muffler and adapter from 4-5". My old muffler was a 4". They supplied me a new 5" muffler and a 4-5" adapter for free. I paid for shipping. WAY TO GO MBRP.

Holy multiple pic post, Batman....:D

I run MBRP and I’ve sold a lot of their systems. I’ve always received a great product and if we had a problem I’ve always received the same excellent customer care you did.

If your dog craws into that pipe, just start the engine and have someone catch him/her in a fish net. Boating years ago a cat fell off one of the boats and went in the engine exhaust, as it could not reach the swim step. We could hear it on the port side but not find it. I held the fish net and the owner started that engine! Diesel Carbon Cat survived the experience.

I have been using the MBRP 5" system since Aug. 2009, with no droning that I can detect. The only issue that I have had so, far was I needed to install a new TIP on the end. The original TIP fell off on the way to the TDR rally this year. The tail pipe rusted at the TIP joint and the tip broke off on the fine roads in IN.
Whenever I change my engine oil or rotate tires, I check the underside of the truck for leaks or rust. There is some surface rust on the underside of the cab floor but the truck is 12 years old and I do live in the rust belt.
