MBRP SS Dual Exhaust installed

Gang,

I finally got around to installing the MBRP T304 Stainless Steel Duel exhuast system from the CAT back. It's a great kit. It looks and sounds just awesome. You keep your factory 2005 and up Cat. I have to say I was very impressed with how it came out and how it sounds.

Hey,

Check out this muffler it's T304 Stainless and has a mirror finish. I would recommend this exhaust to anyone.

Herman, have you need to go through a tunnel and get on it. Make sure you have the windows down. I have the duals on my 03. Ever time I see a tunnel I get a big smile on my face.

Ok at idle you can hardley tell the difference from the stock exhaust in sound. At cruising speeds you can hear a little sound, and know you have something different than stock, but when you womp in it the exhaust just barkes. It sounds real nice. I had my buddy get in the truck and do some drive byes with me standing outside. It sounded sweet, real sweet :D

As fare as performance goes, all I did to the truck so fare was the AFE Stage 2 kit with Pro 7, and the MBRP duals. The truck does get up and go a little quicker, but nothing to really brag about. The next mod. I want to do is The Edge/Attitude, but I am waiting for the new A2 monitor to come out later this year.

I didn't go through a tunnel yet, but I did go under a large overpass and just womped in it. It sounded awesome :D I'm still smiling :D

Hey Thanks, It's a real sweet set up and with 2 guys you can have it on in about an hour. It was a breeze to install and it fit like a glove

Looks great, Hermansdiesel.

While test driving a Nissan Altima today for a tire issue (I work at S&S Tire in Lexington, KY) I happened to see a guy in a black '05 RAM 2500 with the same exhaust. I proceeded to follow him to a fast-food joint for further inspection... ... man that system is sweet. That will most likely be my next addition.

I haven't used it for towing yet. Drone? if there is one I can't here it over that AFE Stage 2 intake. Man does that Turbo sing with that kit.

See sig for details. I have towed a hay trailer of about 9-10k with this system, no drone or anything, but it wasn't really working the truck, either. No real hills. I have run it at 2000-2200 rpm looking for the drone, and haven't found any. Just a little more sound, then drops off at 2200. Nothing like some of the guys have described. It will get louder too, just a touch, as those holes in the muffler get sooted up. Not anything obnoxious, though. Get a fueling box on there, and whomp it in a tunnel, or under a bridge with the windows down. You'll need earplugs. Just the thing for the ricers. I guarantee you'll drown out their boom boxes.

I haven't heard a drone from this system yet. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.
