over the last few years I've read about conversions on our trucks. Issue 47

has one from a company(McKinley conversions) I've already contacted them

and gotten quote for $3,600 and 3 week wait. Just wanted to know if anyone

has any info, pros and cons, thanks in advance! Bill

wasn't that the one that was just in the most recent TDR issue? Seemed like a decent option if you are willing to give up some bed space.

yes, it was in most recent issue. If you go on their web site, they have done them on reg, club, and crew cab. My intent is to have it done and put the 60% of the 60/40 seat where the little fold down seat is now making an 8 pass truck.

I've been tempted to do that with the 97. Much cheaper then a new truck

One of the contractors doing work on campus had one on a 95 3500 that looked very clean and well done. He had something like 200k on the conversion and it still was solid. He said the only problem he ever had is occasionally the rubber boot between the two halves would come up, but just needed to be put down. The back seat was quite a bit bigger then the back seat in my 99 too.

The only thing I forgot to ask was how access to the back seat is handled.
