Did anyone buy the clutch & take it to your local clutch shop for installation? How much did they charge you? 2WD or 4WD?

I think that HVAC has a different version of the McLeod. When I drove Atams truck I had NO PROBLEM #ad
starting out in 2nd gear and NO chatter. Atam say's he gets a little chatter if he lets the clutch out wrong.

Does anyone else have to start out in 1st gear? If that's the case, I think I will scrap the idea of a McCloud. I'm trying to decide whether I should a)Purchase McCloud and enjoy the power.
b) Return EZ module and save a lot of money. (There are motorcycles and other things to blow it on. )
c) Live with the clutch slipping a bit under heavy throttle and then decide which way to go when the clutch is history.

Question:
What about the over/under drive units? I was told by the seller not to use one with such unit because it would not take the shifts at RPM without going to pieces. I went with the Luk Pro Gold, which is doing just fine. But next time will go with Dr. Joe and the Sacks My $. 02.

How much HP & torque are ya pumpen out? It's my understanding that the Sacks will handle only so much torque unless you go with the ceramic pucks, can you say "new rear end"? #ad
