Hello guys, had a great time in Glen Burnie. I have a nice spot just off I-95. Me and Tom from Pylesville go there. I have a friend that just opened a Auto Parts store in North East Md. They want to cater to us diesel guys however they would like to see what we have and what our wants and needs are. I have known them for many years and they are not new to 4wd's. There is also a italian eatery across the street that has great food. The parking lot at the store is huge. Easy access from Rt40 and I-95. 6 miles from DE, 9 miles from PA and 40 minutes North of Baltimore. I-95 is about 1-2 miles from the store. They carry off road tires (Super Swamper etc... ) Let me know if interested and I will set something up.

Hey my weekends are always open. You guys let me know a date and I will put it together. Email as many as you can to get this rolling as time goes quickly. These guys who own the store (two brothers) want to be able to supply us with equipment for our trucks however they need to know what our needs are. Store is closed on Sunday so make sure date is a Saturday. I will probally run a add in the paper for other Dodge owners to join us to learn more about the TDR. Any other suggestions?????

I would be interested in March 10th or the 17th. Otherwise, I would have to use a precious vacation day. Heck, I might even be motivated to wash the dirt off!

Not to throw any bugs under your rug or dampen your enthusiasm but I myself would prefer the Smryna rest stop. Lets face it. Were not going to go into a resturant all together. My experience from hosting these types of event is that 99% of the time is just everybody talking and meeting each other and checking out everyone's rides. So, I myself have no desire to go somewhere just because a few guys have a store and want to cater to us. I believe we all have an idea of who we purchase our bombing parts from already.

In the future as the weather turns warmer I think it would be a great idea if they would put on a Tech session or something like what I planned with Ted Jannetty last year. I have all the NJ names and addresses of TDR members. I will be putting a mailing together real soon. I am also in the process of getting a website up for us. This way it will easier for some of us to comunicate better for local events and the such. So like I said I would like to see if we could do something later in the year that could get much more publicity and therefore more attendance and exposure for your friends shop.

Just my opinion. My vote is for March 3 at the Smryna reat stop which is on RT. 1 above Dover Delaware. This is actually farther for me to drive than the other suggestion but in my own opinion a better all around choice for this type of get together.

So what do you think?
