Just ordered a 2003 4x4 Quad Cab SRW short box with the slushbox to replace my 2001. 5 flatbed. Things have changed and I decided I wanted a smaller truck. I've been told it'll probably be delivered in October. Guess I'll have my fingers crossed till then. .

Can't wait. Anyone know for sure if the M9 seats come with the power driver's seat? Some places say yes and some don't mention it. . I am not sure.

Premium cloth package

The Premium Cloth Seat package (M9) includes a power driver's seat, center seat cushion storage and rear load floor. At least according to my information, a Chrysler order Code Guide I got from the Dealer.

Cool. I ordered the flat load floor separately, so maybe I'll save some money there once the truck shows up. I wish they'd be a little more clear on what is included with these options. .

I want a 3500 4x4 SRW Regular Cab. Can't get it. Only SRW in a Quad cab. Also found that with a 2500, select the tow package and it makes you get the auto trans. That really makes a lot of sense to me

There are a lot of wierd things. Like how the Cummins is "standard" on the quad cab short bed SRW 3500, built into the base price, and the Hemi or V-10 aren't available. . Go to a long bed, and the Hemi is standard, the base price is lower, and the Cummins is an option.



And it's not just that way on the Chrome site, Dodge's paperwork is that way too. . Pretty wierd.



I just hope when my truck shows up it's what I wanted.

So what happens if you order a 2500 HO diesel. Only comes with the six speed. Makes no sense to force you to order an auto with the tow package. Maybe the guy does not know what he is talking about. Try another dealer?

Just tried it for fun on the Chrome site, and sure enough, select the ETH/DEE and then the trailer tow, and it deselects the ETH/DEE. . Try to reselect ETH, it unselects trailer tow. That's pretty silly.

Hold on Hemi

According to wheels.com the hemi with the five speed manual is on hold until mid September. So maybe the problem is with the five speeds.

They probably haven't worked out all the bugs in the ordering system yet. One of the trucks they had at the press into back in february was a SRW regular cab 3500 so I'm pretty sure you should be able to order them that way. Often they have the ordering sheets way screwed up when they first come out as to what can and can't be ordered and then they fix it down the line.

So far, so good I think. . Called DC for a status today and it's BG which according to Dave Fritz's web page is "passed edit n/a for schedule". . They said to call back next week and I may have a build date.

Ordered my truck 2003 quad cab std output 4x4 slt plus auto. (42,600 sticker) , the price went up about $600 from the online invoice till I got the shipper. This truck was supposed to get shipped out on 7-19-02 wich it should have been here 1st week of august but the vehicle got shipped to storage. I think they are going to do a big dealer launch. So I could get the trucknow till... ..... October?:{ :

I got word from a source that was in St. Louis last Friday that the lots there were full of new trucks and that DC had just released them and they were starting to move out. Don't know if that will make you feel better. Oo.

hopefully those trucks are not the 1500's with the radio wiring problem. I here the pontiac sun dome is loaded with these 1500's. Mine is coming out of saltillo. thanks though.

Just talked to my dealer today. He's got an early customer order that has been built and has been sitting for over a week. They are doing some QC audits on them, according to the dealer. I hope mine won't suffer the same fate, as it starts being built next Tues 8/20.

I called dispatch and found out that the trucks are on hold till sept. 9 th then they will be shipped because of some big launch deal. (there are 7,00 of them in saltillo) they also said good thing yours is not coming from st louis , they are tbd.

I agree on the Big Rollout. My dealer in phoenix said that My truck should be coming with approx 50 that will arrive on their lot over the next couple of weeks. BUT, I can't have it until after September 15 and can only look at the trucks they get in!



Says he won't tell me which is mine!!!
