Hey guys, how long tall and wide is your 2nd gen 2500 quad cab long bed?

'97 sales lit says 244" long w/rear bumper, 77. 1" tall (4x4), 79. 3" wide.

Erik: Sounds to me like you're thinking a Cummins/Dodge would be a 'tight fit' in the old garage?

Well not going in the garage its going to be a daily driver.

Just comparing it to the f150 supercrew we have. Its only about 1. 5 feet longer. I just dont want something too huge to drive around

I have driven just about every combination Cummins/Dodge there is.



Without a doubt - there are some differences between them... but I don't think any of them are objectionable to the point where people wished they had bought a shorter wheelbase.



I do know that the longer wheelbase trucks ride like a Cadillac on the highway compared to my '94 regular cab 2500 4x4.
