MeatLoaf in Las Vegas

I see that MeatLoaf is on stage 9pm tonight at the Mandalay Bay Beach venue in Las Vegas, Nevada .



Are there any local TDR members familiar with that venue or perhaps even going to see the concert? Next time I'm back stateside, I want to make a pitstop/shopping trip at Diesel Dynamics and was figuring to combine a trip to Las Vegas with a good concert if possible. I've never been to this venue and was just curious about it and it would be good to hear MeatLoaf live again, to see if he can still deliver the goods... . oh well, another time.

The Mandalay Bay casino is about the largest joint in Vegas. I doubt there could be too much to find wrong with that place. It's a palace. Decadence in the desert.



One thing though, it's too bloody HOTTT down there this time of year!!! The automobiles are built of asbestos The trees are made of concrete. Better to sleep all day and come out at night, like a big bug. It cools off at night, right down into the low triple digits8)

Just moved my son down there... only place in the USA where lizzards and snakes die of sun stroke. . [death valley is part of this place IMHO]

It's a dry heat... 105 isn't hot, when it's 110-120 then it's hot.



The Mandalay Bay has the House Of Blues, a very good concert venue. I didn't know that they had concerts out at their beach.

I love Vegas, all of it, the desert too. John, you won't be disappointed, unless you fail to allow enough time to see and do it all. Out of 4 days and 4 nights there, I only had about an hour and half to gamble. Never did care for it. It's the food, sights, and shows that'll blow you away. I lost 15 lbs. just walking from one end of the strip to the other for two days, in and out of casinos!

Best show? "O", by Circque de Soleil, at the Bellagio. And don't miss their art gallery.

Mandalay Bay is the best, that beach out back is very scenic.

My trip there was for the Paris grand opening. Before I got into diesels, so I totally missed Diesel Dynamics. Time for another trip out there, I guess !
