Did a search, came up empty. SW has a mech. pressure gauge,2-30 psi. wich would fit the bill for the pusher pump. Has anybody tried this?Any bad experiances, fuel in the cab and all.

Autometer has one.

Its a full sweep, 15psi mechanical with isolater. Supposed to coming out with the 30 psi guages this spring.

Had a cheapo.........

Worked great compared to the electric gauge. Was very responsive. The biggest drawback was the noise it transmitted into the cab via the line. The VP hammering tranfered right down the line and made quite a noticeable racket. People mentioned snubbers but I had already ordered my electric gauge and senders.

I used an Autometer 0/35 boost gauge, if you don't mind it saying "boost" instead of fuel works like a charm.

Thanks for the replies,I think I'll check into the boost gauge idea, sounds like a better idea. That will keep the fuel out of the cab,I had a mech. oil gauge once, long story short,I had oil all over the cab, don't ask!

Thanks again,

Rob

Fuel in cab

No it won't! I ran a -4 SS line from the fuel filter to the gauge. If I have a leak, the cab will smell like #2!;) I don't see it happening though, Aeroquip fittings/ lines and teflon tape. Been OK for 6 months so far.

Give Andy a call or email him at www.smokindiesel.com he'll tell ya all the options available to ya. I bought my set up from them, best customer service around.
