Does anyone’s exhaust sound choppy like this?

I know this is old, I did not see it before, but FWIW.. PLIOGRIP makes a panel bonding epoxy that sticks almost anything to anything. I had re-make bonded mounting tabs for the OEM steps on my Bronco (fiberglass or the like).. I bonded aluminum L shaped brackets to the bottom and they are not going anywhere.. We've used it in our business to bond steel to FDM resins, etc... I would not be afraid to make a strap of metal or channel and bond it to the OEM shroud as a repair (in lew of zip ties) like a lap joint.. I think when it comes to the 03-04 shrouds there are only two types out there.. the broken ones and the soon to be broken ones, I also had mine crack on the Pass side mount, fixed it as stated with a aluminum strap, some screws and bonding resin..

We used the PLIOGRIP Panel 60 I believe.. they have others, but its rated to bond almost anything to anything.... Pricey thought, not sure if you can get it in smaller tubes. They have other working times, this is the 60 min. .I have not used that product, but I would assume if the material of the shroud is similar to those listed in the description it would also likely work.. I used the panel bond in my case as I was bonding aluminum to fiberglass (ish) material.
