I have dinner at some friends that the wife set up a while ago, and probly alot of after dinner refreshments. I run down to logan from time to time, occasionally stop at BW3's there in Lancaster. Always seems the CTD's runnin around down there are modified a bit more than the average joe. At least quantiy wise anyway

I may just do that,,,, Kind of busy right now I just worked 8- 12 hrs days at work Im ready for a little family time . after that We'll see. he only charged me $110 for all the windows . but I'd still like for it to be right.

Is it OK to bring my wife and my son to the meet and greet ?



I try to include my son (2yrs) in almost every thing I do .



My wife is just kind of along for the ride.

Yea thats fine to bring them. Thats whats good about BW3 they have seperate areas so we dont have to sit at the bar with kids. So if that is what is stopping anyone from coming bring them along.

If everyone comes that I invited there would be about 15 people from my end.



Ill bring my camera and hopefully we can all line our trucks up and I can get a cool pic to post here on TDR.

I like the idea of the pic be nice if we could pull that off, As far as I know BW's has no idea but im sure they wont mind the buss. If we have a big turn out and plan it again we can give them a head's up from that point on

Im going to call them and let them know whats going on. Like partsman said if we have a turnout then we can start booking stuff like the party room at hooters Would like to do this about once a month, Then maybe have somthing in the summer like some of the bigger TDR clubs. What do you all think??

i have a question, anyone interested in taking some pics of there trucks? i was thinking like maybe rising park with the woods as a backdrop. maybe we could meet an hr early and run over there and get all our trucks in a pic? its going to be cold, but dry. what do u think. ? i like the idea of a once a month gathering. oh, does anyone have any aluminum sheet . 080 laying around? i need a 18x24 piece.

I cant meet every mth tho I work every other fri,sat,sun and I'm on call the half of them I have off so its a stroke of luck that Im free and clear this weekend.



AS for the alum Im pretty sure those are the dimentions of the DTR heat shield in TECH FACTS over there ?? if so I have a fabricating shop all set up with the template and they will make them for about $90 a pop out of 1/8" Stainless Steal check my upgrdes photo folder or click my DTR link for photos to see the well crafted piece.



The only let down is the shop wont make them for me if I dont get 12 buyers to accomendate the full sheet . This has been hendering the shop useless to me so far Ive had individual buyers . but I need to get them lined up. Im willing to have them made and ship them to people @ no gain to me I juat want enough to pay the guy and for the shipping. You guys can see my S/S HS @ the MEET.



My wife Does alot of photoshop work @ home so Ill bring our camera and she can do something up real nice.

it is the heat shield u have, i figured id just do it out of aluminum, trying to save $$$ just like everyone else. im going to bring my digital camera as well. any word on if bw3's knows were going to show up? i could stop inthere tonight on my way home to find out. . ?. . man, i cant wait till saturday. . SMOKE FEST!!! heehee! if we have a good turnout, ill try and have tdr print the pics in the magazine. he seemed really cool about it when he sent all those stickers and referal forms. so, if any current tdr members want a few stickers speak up asap on saturday. i have 5", 4" and got diesel? from tdr.

MAKE SURE YOU DRILL THE HOLES 1/2 INCH



If you go exactly by the template the shield will hit your A/C line



With 1/2 inch holes it'll fit fine.

yea, lets do the 4 p. m. @ rising park for group pics. we'll meet in the parking lot right behind the tennis courts. then once everyone shows up we'll go up to the shelter house area. (good backdrops) if anyone doesnt know where rising park is, drop me a line and ill give directions. i take it dieselminded, you know where it is.

plus i need some smoke pics and the wife just cant seem to get the pic right.

YEAH My wife has locked her keys in her car twice @ rising park Once when we were dating and once not that were married both times I had to drive to lancaster with her spares Ill never forget the directions to rising park . Plus I used to work @ the dreaded Anchor so I drove past the fair grounds everyday.



Ill be @ the park @ 4pm sat I hope theres somebody there when I show up.



Maybe we can drive up the trail and get some cool pics on top of the moutain?????... ... ... ... Just Kiddin-------- LOL
