Introducing TDR member Andrew Bengtson. His truck is the First-Generation Dodge gracing your wall for the month of April. We asked Andrew to tell us more about his truck and here’s his story.
“Hey all, my name is Andrew Bengtson and this is my 1992 Dodge W-250. It has the 5.9 Cummins 12-Valve engine. I bought this truck back in 2015 with 196,000 miles on the odometer. Right now, the truck has just over 240,000 miles.
I have made a few engine modifications to it, including upgraded turbo, injectors, AFC delete, upgraded intake and exhaust manifolds, 4 inch exhaust, 7.3 Power Stroke intercooler, etc.
The winning picture was actually taken just outside of Flagstaff, Arizona. I took a little road trip out there to see my good friends, Dustin and Madison, and they were the ones that captured this image.
This is my first and only Cummins, but my Dad has a 1993 Dodge W-250 and my Grandpa has a 1992 Dodge W-250. I tow a small toy hauler every now and then. Other than that, this is my daily driver. “
