Mega Cab ALMOST ready to order

How about some advice... I haven't decided whether or not to get the sunroof. The local dealers do not have an 05 with one for me to look at. Have you seen one or have any info? I am 6'3". Oo. Does it lower the ceiling height much? Does it have a cover to block out the sun? Florida has lots of sun - sometimes you want it - sometimes you don't.

Yes to the sunshade, and it does lower the roof about 1. 5 inches, But that has never been a problem on the rams

Do you know if you can get a sunroof "and" rear seat entertainment system in a quad cab? Seems the sunroof pocket would use the space where the entertainment setup would be mounted, but ya never know.

I too wanted the sunroof option on my '05 but could not order it at the time I ordered my truck back in Feb. . When I took delivery of in April the dealer told me the sunroof option was still closed for ordering at that time. To this day I still have not seen an '05 with a sunroof, but if they are out there they must be very rare on the '05's and I would imagine not many were produced.

Yes can get both... Keep in mind that we do it on caravans, The overhead monitor mounts on the bracing for the sunroof

Well, my dealer must have BS'd me. I took delivery on 4/07/05 and specifically asked if the sunroof option was available at that time and he said it was still closed. I beleive you since it's not the first time my dealer BS'd me.

Looks like the headliner fitment right in the front center of that one isn't so good! Might just be the picture though.



Can you get cab clearance lights with the sunroof? Or are they mutually exlusive options?

As for options, Here is the options that are STANDARD on the LARAMIE:

tommy gun i hope they did a better job putting mine in the headliner in the first picture looks like its pulling away from the sunroof
