Mega Cab Long Bed ?????

Does any one know about a Mega Cab long bed?. I thought I read where you can order one in Aug as a 07 model.



And whats up with that short bed dually with the flares #@$%!.

i was told that there will not be a long bed mega cab. from the truck sales rep at the dealership i work at. but he said that the 4500 and the 5500 should be out in 07.

Strange you should say that ... I too hear from the MAIN sales rep at Foss Dodge in Exeter NH say the 4500/5500 will be out towards the end of 2007.

Straight rail; chassie/cab; 2 or 4 door (no mega cab); 4X2/4X4; 19,500lb (5500 model)/17,500(4500 model). He knows a lot about diesels since he sells quite a few. No engine/transmission specs though.



Was also told that the Neon will be replaced with the Caliber in 2007, which will offer a 2. 0L 4-cyl diesel (bought from VW or DC/VW joint venture).

I Was Told That The Neon Was Going To Be Replaced Also He Just Did Not Say With What. As For The 4500 And The 5500 I Have Not Got Much On The Gvrw Or The Drive Train But He Did Say Something About A Freightliner Frame.

I know that I read somewhere on one of the legit sites... DC or Dodge. ca that there will be a long bed dually Mega Cab and that it will be slow to market as they have to make a longer frame. It might have even been in a brochure. I just wish I would've bookmarked/saved it as I was just glad it was going to happen. My thoughts are I would get one about a year after the 6. 7 is out and proven.

I have jumped on the latest and greatest twice with problems from it so I will try and be patient this time. LOL

I test drove one of the few remaining new '05's with the NV5600 the other night for a buddy and was talking to the salesman about the MegaCab and he had heard himself that there's enough demand they are going to do a long box MC.



They'll need to use every marketing tool possible to sell '07 emission equipped engines so I don't doubt we'll see a 6spd auto, long box MC, more power, 450/550 chassis, etc. in '07.

I think you ment 4500/5500 model.



I'll be waiting to see ... as far as I'm concerned they can't build a truck big enought for me, I guess I'll just have to make due with a 5500 when it comes out.

I hear ya, As far as I know - Dont expect a MC long bed until a 4500/5500 series is out... hope for 07
