Air Ride Seats??

I looked at the MegaCabs yesterday but didn't get to see a dually. Boy the cab is huge in those rascals, if you use the back seats a lot the MegaCab is the way to go.

I find the payload ratings very interesting, I would have thought with the 3rd Gen frame supposed to be so much stronger than the older ones, the trucks having so much more engine power and way better brakes, that they would be up in the 12,000+ payload class easily. 10,500 sure seems low, it's the same as my '97 extended cab dually.

They have boosted the capabilities of the truck in many areas by 30% or more compared to my old truck: 50% more HP, 40% more torque, better braking, stronger frame, etc. If all of them added up to give a guy just 25% improvement in weight carrying over my truck that would be 13,125 GVWR.

Doesn't really matter in my case though, without a long bed the MegaCab trucks can't carry my camper anyway so I guess when I buy the next one it will be one of the pre-MegaCab vintages

You can still get a Quad Cab long box.

It'll sell, lots of people need the tow cap and the cabroom occasionally but don't need a truck that is a country mile long.

I have a 2500 reg. cab weighing 6400# emty GVW of 8800# 2400# payload

thats more payload than the mega cab. somthings not right dodge needs to fix that
