Mega Cab Running Boards

Hey guys, where can I find running boards for Mega Cabs? I do not want the tubular bars as I live on a gravel road or the outdated looking extruded aluminum, I am more looking for the plastic type. Any thoughts?

I was going to get the power steps when I got my truck new but I decided to get the oem nerf bars. I got them because my mother in law has trouble gettng in. I hate Chrome but I am now glad that I got them since they protect the body from door dings and run away shopping carts. I have a gravel driveway and the rocks never seem to kick up and hit them

I looked at the power steps but those will not last in the winter salt.....



As for the nerf bars, the only reason I want the running boards is to keep the stones on our LONG gravel road from chipping paint. Running board for the actual purpose of making it easier to get in is actaully of no interest!!!

Have you tried JC Whitney? They have a huge variety; make sure you stay with name brands though.

These boards work very well for me, I have used these running boards on my 06 and 05 Rams. Great protection from rock chips too!

BSchwarzli if all you want is stone protection they make special paint you can put on the lower portion of your truck

i dont know the name of it. to me it looks almost like spray in bedliner that is smooth

For ordering purposes, is the model you have specified as quad then? If so they fit the megas pretty good!

My boards are definitely longer than the Quad Cab's, so don't order those!

When you have your doors closed that power step will retract adding no protection at all.
