i recieved my megacab last week and made a 550 mile trip to the dunes with it. my first impression of the truck it is huge. it towed my 22' toyhauler like it wasnt there(5500lbs). the only thing i dislike about the whole truck is the stiff seats. i got an average of 12mpg on the trip. while running 72mph at 2150 rpm. this truck is very heavy also, my old 01 was a gasser regular cab 4x4. on thursday night when arriving at camp i burried the truck to the frame in soft sand with the trailer hooked up. i had to unhook the trailer and lower the tire pressure to 20psi and get pulled out by another dodge, then filled in the craters and pulled out the trailer with no help. its all about air pressure. all weekend long i was designated as the towrig for anyone who was stuck in the sand close to camp. i pulled out chevs and ferds with tripple axle toyhaulers like nothing. it was good entertainment. well i think i broke it in the hard way, but ohwell thats what a warranty is for. now to completely void the warranty and install a Lorenz lift and wheels/tires and get some great dune pics of airtime.

The seats get softer the more you sit in them. I do not know if they break in or you get use to them :-laf

Fozzy, I think they break down The seats in my 04. 5 with a ton of miles are still in great visual condition, but the seat pad feels worn out.
