This is the Rubber Grommet that used to hold in the stock Air Box... I just pulled it out and used a Razor to cut it off... I did this for 2 reasons - I needed to shim it up 1/8" or so to make it seat right and to ensure there is no air leaking in that is unfiltered.

I placed the sensor on this side to allow the cooler air to pass over it from that side... it may be a moot point but from what I know about Gassers cooler air advances your timing? Not sure but it might work on our 24v'rs

Painting will come soon.

Yes. It appears the OP posted in the 2nd gen forum. Probably an accident.

CRAP!

Sorry - Sorry... I got click happy.

I just got everything to do my 12v this evening. So this application is easy to do as long as you have a stock elbow that will fit... I can't remember what my 99 had...

My bad!

Admin - please help me to do an about face to the 3rd gens (I have my hat in my hands)

Just got it painted and reinstalled. I shaved down and sanded all of the factory molding spikes, Stamping, and mold creases... I may paint it a darker metallic or flat black now that a have a plastic adhesive base.

I used a Hammered Metallic for Plastics & PVC...

Also flipped my sensor around to have the wires go under.
