Megacab 06 order cut-off

I placed an order with a dealer on 04/03 for a 06 Megacab and still as yet do not have a VIN number. Today I was told that I would not know until the 16th if the order will be built. Has anyone ordered a 06 Megacab after 04/03 and received confirmation that their truck is being built. :-{}

Grrrrr... if not, I guess I'll be buying a used '03 locally... or an '02 F-350 with the 7. 3L...

I ordered an 06 megacab on 4-26. He said cutoff was 5-1. Last week dealer said it was in "BX" status. I don't know what that means in Dodge-speak, except it's in the paperwork stage(?). I take that as a good sign.

Does anyone know the cut-off for any of the other models? Particularly the quad cab? Or were they all the same (5/1/06) ??

My dealership quoted a cut-off date of May 12th (today) for the MegaCab, as well as all other models. I ordered on Thursday (May 11th) and right now it is in a "buildable state". That isn't certain, but my Inventory Manager gal had several orders in from this past week with green lights.

Got my VIN number today. Looks like they are going to build.
