Been there, and done that!

My 06 mega cab has new 988's springs from the dealer. It rides fine!

the front end came up about 1 1/2" and NO BOTTOMING OUT!

you can search for this thread but bottom line there heavey duty spring and are OEM. Cost is $129. 00 each.

Hope this helps.

Mike
Does anybody know what the actual 988 springs are for? I asked my Dodge parts guy he didn't know said they were the last one on the list. He said the actual part number was 152113988AA. Cost $146. 20 per each.

I installed the 988 AA and highly recomend them. They have not sagged and the springs are twice as thick and heavy as stock ones. The front end was lifted approximately 3/4 of an inch.

That sounds like a great solution. I started this post looking for good advice. 3/4 inch is an acceptable lift for me. Is the ride noticably stiffer? I wouldn't mind it being a little firmer up front. Did your Dealer know what you were talking about? The parts guys at my dealer aren't the brightest.

Thanks

I am also looking for about 1" of lift. I like the idea of a progressive rate as with the Lorenz spring but do not want 2-2. 5" of lift.

I would also like to know how firm the 988 spring is.

Thanks
