Not sure if anyone else remembers the post I'm going to refer to but, a fellow posted that he had his truck in the dealership because of an engine noise (I think) and after diagnosing they told him it had to be torn down for further troubleshooting. After tear down they told him it needs all kinds of stuff and it wasn't covered because "I think" he had a jake brake or something. I replied several times to his post and so had many others, one even recommending a Law firm that dealt with these types of issues. I've searched by member name "Joe Mc" in an effort to find the post, and it's as if it fell of the face of the TDR? Did the men in black come and get it

I noticed a few nights ago I had 730 posts when I logged out. The next day I had 728, I asked TDR Admin what happened and was given fair answer that (WTE) if posts that I've posted to are removed, for whatever reason, then my number of posts would reduce accordingly. Funny (not) that I posted 2 times to the particular post I can't find. Please keep an eye out for me, if you don't see me here anymore you'll know those MIBs got me too. :--)

Seriously, anyone know what happened with our fellow member's problem :( ?

He is STILL dealing with it. It is STILL torn apart but there has been some very serious issues with the dealer and how they have handled it. Some new information has come to light that shows the dealer is shunning their responsibility. I cant be more detailed due to possible litigation issues .

I am flabberghasted because this is the dealer I bought my truck from and I will never go back there again. PERIOD!

I too am very unhappy with the dealership where I bought my truck. Luckily I have a friend that works at a very good Dodge dealership right down the road that doesn't play those stupid games, but the fact still stands.

When my VP died they tried to blame it on me because I had exhaust and the BHAF, etc... and tried to show me TSB's and had a tech that knew absolutely d*ck try to BS me into believing them.

Finally the "Magnusson" (i think that's right) Warranty Laws straightened them out.

Where do they get off.
