Membership cards???

Got an idea that I think would be way cool, several times now while filling up at the big city (Casper Wyo) flying J truck stop, I have had other Cummins Ram owners spot my gages on the A piller mount and they instantly start asking about Mods to the truck , its obvious they are non- TDR guys because they dont know what a BOMB is , they also have never heard of the TDR web site , and about the time you get fueled up and the other half says lets go lets go and then the guy was only teased and still dont know where to find us on the web, so these experiences have got me to thinking about how nice it would be to have a membership card just like a business card that had all the needed info on it as far as TDR web page and logo and then have it personalized with your name or TDR handle on it. Then when the guy gets home or at work around the puter he can look us up , surf a little and then hopefully join us.

Now with the idea presented I can tell you that with permission from ADMIN to use the logo ,that building of the cards is not to hard at all, there is a program called publisher from microsoft office sweat where you can build business cards and you can buy the card stock at Wal-mart so it can be done.

Is there anything I am missing here or any other ideas in line with this???... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Kevin

It seems like a great idea, if everyone wants to take the time to create the cards. Or were you thinking of cards being distributed to members from someone. I usually just write down the web address on a piece of paper and give it to the person, and tell them that their entire repertoire of questions can be answered here, and that this is the best site on the web for a Cummins owner.

Excellent idea Kevin, I want some. Would be nice to give out to the PSD guys asking questions but I'm not sure many of them know how to read.

My wife builds business cards all the time at work thats where I got the idea, she has done it at home too, I will see if I can get her to build a sample and then help me post it so we can all have a looksie and see how to improve it???

This is what my wife came up with, I plan on packing them at all times and if someone is interested in our trucks than I will just give them a card and we will hopefully talk to them here



When are they going to fix it so us non puter gurus can post a pic too,

I have business card for the Alaska Dodge Diesel Bombers Club. Just about every time I see a Dodge that has guages or lift kit or other mods I stick one in the window edge for the owner to find. I don't have my file handy or I would post it.
