Continuing Engine Problems for Ford

any other online auction sites to get parts

Our snowmobile club is trading up a 2006 Pisten Bully Edge for a 2007 Edge. The dealer states the the 07's are Tier III engines. Aside from the lower NH and Nox levels, does anyone know what actually changed on the engine and are they improvements or otherwise? One mechanic I talked to said they corrected some fuel line/rail issues but I would like to hear from any of you that might have any knowledge on this stuff. For the king size bucks one has to shell out for these things, it's nice to know what you are really getting.

TIA

Rick

Not sure how it applies to what you are talking about but I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting tier III technology to hit out forklift industry. I want to sell a customer around 30 diesel forklifts to run inside a warehouse (thus eliminating the explosion hazard of that many propane powered lifts inside) and Tier III will allow me to do that because they are SO clean running. The 3. 3L Cummins our Doosan-Daewoo lifts use will meet TierIII by going to a common rail system. I am all for that! I have researched this greatly and anxiously await the arrival of tier III for this reason. Diesel will be cleaner than LPG and much safer to store inside because it is not explosive.
