Found out my last day at Royal Dutch Shell will be Dec. 31.

Several hundred people. Jobs going to far East.

Sorry to here that Gray Ghost... ... . I'm still hanging on..... barely. This company has fallen so far so fast that it is mind boggling.



I think their primary drive now is to have an executive committee and nothing but contractors in every other position. Not that contractors are bad, just that Shell traditionally did almost everything themselves. They were know for the quality of engineers and chemist they employed. Not anymore. If it has not made any money in the last ten minutes, sell it or close it down. When we replace the current CEO a new one will come along and try and re-invent the wheel..... and convince more than a couple of folks that they have done it!!!!!!!!!

This is all you hear these days. I also lost my job to out-sourcing to India. The powers that be are slowly,,,, or rapidly dis-manteling the USA piece by piece.



I hope I'm wrong, but I feel we are seeing the down fall of our nation first hand!

Wonder who is going to buy all the products that are being made over seas;--- If many are losing good paying jobs here.

Heck, where I live you can find all kinds of jobs. Pay is ~10 bucks and hour, maybe 12 if you have a brain. Yeah right. Maybe we should blame the schools turning out MBA's with one idea and that is send it overseas. Problem with that as I see it is people with no money don't buy the latest and greatest.

I'll put this as short and to the point as possible: BUY "MADE IN USA" and DON"T buy ANYTHING from Wal-Mart. They RUIN American jobs more than anyone and are absolutely DESTROYING this country.

With the caliber of politicians and people with any sort of power in this country, it is inevitable. Can anyone deny that the USA is the modern equivalent of the Roman Empire? I doubt it. We have no morals, corrupt leadership, we are conquering lands far and wide while our core society dies of social cancer from within, etc. It's coming, without a doubt. I'm only 25 but I have a firm feeling that within my lifetime I will witness the collapse of the United States. With any luck we will be able to revert to something similar to the US ca. 1850.
