Met a fellow Ram'er at BMW today

I was pulling up to the BMW Motorcycle dealer and noticed a red 4-door 3rd Gen with the KORE suspension kit and a TDR badge on his grill.



I looked around inside, and noticed it must belong to the only guy in there not wearing a BMW shirt. I asked him if it was his truck and he proudly said yes. I asked him his TDR name but said he doesn't go online but loves the magazine.



We got to talking about bikes and said he owns a 1200LT but wants a GS or similar for a little more offroad capability. I told him I was looking at the 650

Dakar and then BSed a little.



Small world, but never asked his name since I didn't think I would see him online.

I once ran into an older guy, maybe 70 yrs old, at the Big Cypress Visitor's Center, which is in the middle of nowhere, in the everglades off Alligator Alley. He had a 2nd gen Cummins with a Camper setup, and we got to talking. Turns out he was also a TDR member, but didn't post. He spotted my TDR hitch insert Small world for so many big C's!

It's a Small World

I was a couple hundred miles from home once and stopped to fill up when I had my '01 shortbed 4x2. Another CTD driver pulled up on the other side and started asking about my truck. In our conversation TDR came up and I told him I was a member there. When I told him my name he says "Oh, you. . . I've seen some of your posts. " LOL
