methanol compatible tank

Does anyone know if pvc or abs plastic pipe is compatable with a 50/50 mix of water methanol. Just trying to come up with a home made tank for my truck, thanks for any ideas. Bill

Bill... wait till Costco has the yard stuff in a couple months. . they will have a sprayer with pump 12 volt for use on quads [I think about 15/20 gallons] at a great price. . that way you can have a large one... ORRRR

go to Summit / Jegs and look at the tanks they have all will work as to chemicals v/s product they are made from. .

another source is the farm supply house near you. . many styles / sizes of tanks

Willyslover, Thanks for the info. When you said pump for quads, what exactly do you mean? Like a cleaning system? Bill
