If I’m going to spend bucks on a second set of 3 or 4 gen wheels, I may consider aftermarket.
I hear these Method brand wheels are top notch and well coated. I’m looking for stock width and backspace. Diameter is open for discussion. Intended for summer driving and highway tread/ efficient tires.

Wayne, I have a set of Mickey Thompson SideBiter II. I bought them new in 2015 for my Nitto Dura Grappler tires. I use them for the towing season when I have my 5er hooked to the truck. The wheels are 17" inch, Bolt circle 8X170, with a zero offset, a 5" back spacing and will support a load of 3,640 LBS each. They are also available in 20 inch but no 18 inch size.
Here is a pic of them on my truck.

I have had Methods, they are find but I dont find them any better then other wheels and have seen multiple ones crack under heavy off road use where other brands have not but I dont think that would be an issue for your use. There forged wheels are awesome but that a whole different world.

There’s a fellow on CompD that has a set of Method Double Standards for sale, $500. I do not know him but could get his contact info if you want. This is his listing:

(4) - Method Double Standard Wheels
They’re in good shape. Ran them for about a year. I was pretty religious with cleaning them and had them ceramic coated when I originally bought them. They are the machined version.

17” x 8.5”
8 on 6.5”
4.75” Back spacing

I’m looking for $500 for all 4. Centercaps included. I can ship them no problem. Pictures can be texted.

Wayne,

Check out CJC Offroad's website.

They carry Method Race wheels as well as a 17x9 Raceline wheel with offset designed exclusively for Ram trucks (screen shot below).

Please note that I have never done business with them, so there is no endorsement from me either way although I do follow them on Instagram. Looks like Method Race wheels and Carli suspension upgrades are popular out where they are in CA.

Regards,
Vincent
