I know alot of people use pay pal but i like the old way of send me a postal money order and then i ship or on bigger amounts Bank cashiers check thats the Only way i do business unless I have worked with the person before .

do what feels best to you I guess ?

I have sent the item, buyer sends me cash or check when he receives it.

Worked ok so far, but all less than 150 $

Guys,

I appreciate the candor on paying for items.

It helps to go into these things with a little info.

For some re- imbursment such as the postage for Pay- It- Forward... the amount is generally low. Folks are ususally happy to get an item for free that the check payment is good. I have never been screwed for PIF postage.

For actual higher dollar items, I insist on a money order issued at the US Post Office. I will have the item for sale packaged and ready to go. I have a PO Box, and once I recieve the USPS MO, I go right to the counter, cash it, then send out the item.

I've had good luck with Paypal. Thru E-bay, and sold a turbo kit thru here. I have also used the MO, can't go wrong with that! ;)

Postal money order is never a bad idea, especially when using to buy something. If you send it, the person cashes it, and then doesn't send your item, its considered mail fraud.

Guys,

I see that there are some good transactions tempered with caution.

Many thanks for more information. :)
