Need Advice..Lower Boost on a pdr Hx40

you'll need this tool for the first change RobertBolinger, LOL.

I removed my intake tube and crushed the filter canister with a strap wrench on my first change. I ended up having to use a chisel and hammer from the top and treat it like a stubborn jar of peanut butter.

I wish I had this tool then!

I got mine... very nice... will be able to use for my first oil change!

BTW, I really want to know how this goes on the first go around. Subsequent changes are easier if you oil the seal and don't over tighten!

When I used it, it was my 3rd change but it was a perfect fit. I can't imagine it not working on any filter since it's fit is so tight. The filter would have to destruct and twist!

Kinda funny

You know, I had to laugh at myself just now, because I'm actually "excited" to use mine on the next oil change. This is the first time ever I was this excited to use something as simple as an oil filter wrench. Kinda makes you chuckle when you think about it... :)

cheater bar or impact, this socket will take it :D ... ... ..... if it don't i'll give you your money back plus another socket! Is that a fair deal?

The "group buy" is all but over. I made another small run (1st 70 didn't last long) and have 10 or so left with the TDR engraving and at that price.

Once those are gone, the price may go up a few dollars and lack engraving.

If I have not responded to you with a PM and you have not sent a check, refer to the classifieds.

The "group buy" is over and I'll only be selling in the classifieds from now on.

Thank all of you!!

looks great

Jeff,

My wrench was waiting for me when I got home. Oo. Oo. Oo. (looks great) Now I have to go buy a fluted oil fiter so I can use it. :D :D :D Just had to have one though and I can't wait to get one of your fuel filter caps.

Ok used it to change my oil the first time. Used breaker bar+6' pipe-filter would not budge. Then tried IR 3/4 impact wrench-blew transmission out of that ;) Hooked up 4WD John Deere tractor to pipe on breaker bar, and pulled truck up on 2 wheels-finally filter came off

OK, a little Joey Isuzu humor! The socket worked great, and the first filter was very easy to get off-a great product-and it worked on my other Dodge too (Grand Caravan 3. 8).

Thanks, Jeff!

Wanted to add my name to the list of compliments!

The oil filter socket I bought worked great! I usually plan on having to work hard to get the first oil filter off---this one came off in a minute! Great job, Jeff!
