ANOTHER North East Meet ..... WOW

GLTDR Members

#ad

I would like to thank Macomb Community College for hosting a great GLTDR event and many thanks to Bill and Elaine Hill

who organized the event. I am very proud of the GLTDR members who evidently impressed the staff at the

college, and because of that we have been invited to have another BOMB session next year.

We had twenty two trucks inside of the facility during the event. Every one of those trucks got some sort of

improvement. Our members supported each other by offering suggestions or a helping hand, based upon their

own past experiences. Several of the guys got to get their hands dirty doing something that they never tried

before, and are now prouder and richer for the knowledge that they gained.

More pictures to come, GLTDR web site.

P. S. Hope everyone had a safe trip back. :)

Yeah, thanks for rubbing it in Doc...

I couldn't make it. My boy was supposed to have a lacrosse match in Hartland and I figured I'd get lost over that way and have to stop at the college for directions. Darned kids didn't want to play in the snow and cancelled. :{

Awesome Event

I second Docs words on thanking Macomb Community College for hosting a great GLTDR event especially Bill and Elaine Hill.

Doc Tinker and Steve St. Laurent were a big help in giving me advice/direction on my injector swap. Both of them even got dirty as I got hung up a couple of times. I was even able to 'trick' Ben into changing one of them under the guise that he needed to learn how to do it.

Thanks to Frank for helping put on the Rancho 9000's as well.

Macomb is a first class facility and the staff was extremely helpful.

It was worth the commute from the Land of Lincoln.

Oo. I had a blast! Thanks to all who helped... The roof lights don't leak:D Now if I could just get them to light... .

What a blast, this was my first bombing secession. It was cool to see another crew cab there. Neat thing is watching 25 Cummins light up inside a building, bet they felt that down the street !:--)

What an awesome event, the amount of work that we got done on our trucks was amazing! Huge thanks go out to Bill and Elaine for organizing the event and to Macomb College for hosting it. It sure was nice being able to wrench on the trucks in a HUGE heated garage! The best news of all was that they were so impressed with the club that they invited us back.

It was a good turn out. For my first bomb secession it was great.

Thanks to all who helped with that darn plug!

83 Crewcab: Sorry to here about the thermostat. Good to here the seats are going to stay in the truck now.

Stevek: Did you stop sweeting when you found out they didn't leak:D

I'll see you all next year. ;)

My turn to give Thanks, First, and foremost, I would like to give a Big Thank-You to Andy's wife Gayle, George's wife Melissa, and of course my wife Elaine for taking care of the food and making sure no one went Hungry. Thank You ladies.

Secondly, I would like to thank Andy for his help in hooking up my fuel gauge and to Doc Tinker for installing my lift pump. Thanks Andy and Doc.

I went over to the Auto Lab this morning and received many compliments for the Great Group that attended Saturday, and it is because of each and everyone of you that was there.

Thanks To All

Bill

Hope I didn't leave too much crud on the floor. I thought after I left I really should've mopped around my spot and checked elsewhere. Must not have been too bad if we're invited back though. (or a big thanks to whoever cleaned up!) Hope everybodys tools made it back to where they belong.

Hey George, a bit of duct tape on the grille might have kept you warmer :D

Already looking forward to next year.
