Just got the camper back from the welder, generator is ready to go (got to have coffee and AC ;) ). We will be leaving Muskegon Friday morning heading down US31. Anyone else going that route want to convoy ? I ussually bring a general assortment of tools, u-joints, etc just in case. PM me if you want to convoy.

Kyle

Anyone heading down 69 on friday morning?

The wife and i are heading down from Ont. and was looking for a convoy to hook up with

Thanks

Scott

I'll be leaving out of Port Huron on I69 in the 8-10 AM range Friday morning. We might be hooking up with another truck down around I69/I94. A while ago there was talk about a group meeting around 10:00 AM (?) at the Capac exit off I69.

We hope to leave Muskegon around 9am and Our route is US31 South to I94 West to I65 South. It seems to be a straight shot from Muskegon and just under 300 miles/ 5 hours according Map Quest which is shorter travel time than going to Muncie. I am thinking it might be better to take US 31 right through South Bend to Indy, anyone ever travel that route ? The speeds would all be 55mph but with diesel over $2. 39 a gallon :{ it might leave more money for bombs and beer :-laf .

This trip run includes 30 min. from my house in Marysville to Capac and indicates that Capac is about a 2 hour drive from the southern I69/I94 intersection. Any chance of getting schedules arranged to hook these two groups up???

Right now, FMcClaren and I plan on leaving Marysville about 9:00 AM and hooking up with the Capac crowd at 10:00 AM. A bit later than I would like, but the chances of me getting out much earlier are slim :( ... but possible :D

CrewCab Diesel, what is your ETA from Muskegon to the southern I69/I94 intersection?

Graphic man, are you hooking up with either group? Marysville is within 10 miles of the border, just south of the Port Huron.

Billybob1 from the Chelsea area will be at the southern I69/I94 intersection about 10:00 AM, and plans to make one stop enroute at a diesel shop.

The I69 route is a bit out of the way but we will make it anyway. We shoud be able to be in the area at 10 am. The truck and camper is almost loaded and I am bringing along a used banks monster exhaust and a tounue cover to get rid of. Is there one place everyone is hooking up and exactly where and what time. Also I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I really don't want to run over 63 mph for safety and fuel reasons. Does everyone have a CB ?

Frank has a CB, and we will have 2-way radios and/or cell phones.

I am towing my TT with a new turbo, so I will be taking it easy as well. Any chance we could get you up to 68mph? :-laf

I sent a PM to Silver03 asking what speed they will mostly likely cruise at. If they are in the 75+ club, then we may have a couple of MI waves rolling into town.

Ok now I am confused, are we meeting at coldwater at 10 am or capac ? I can make coldwater (I69 and US12)by 10 am but I don't have a clue where capac is.
