Off Roading Mickey Thompson Baja Belted Tires

Has anyone used Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires? Mostly street driving and sand (pismo dunes). Looking at the 36"x14. 50" 16. 5". Any info would be great.

Got a buddy with an 03 that has those tires in 33" his are down to the steel belts showing around 10k on them. If you drive much highway I wouldn't get em.

Obnoxiously loud on the street--above 35 it sounds like an airplane.



Poor tread wear on the street--10,000-15,000 miles is not unusual.



Great in the sand, and not much anywhere else.



They look kinda cool but outside of the desert, they're not that great.
