Anybody heard of or used this product? Any noticeable improvements?

Good or bad, please send comments. If you do not wish to start an online riot PM me. Thanks.

I've been trying it on my guns. I cant say for sure if it performs as stated, but the pistols "feel" smoother.

I asked for a sample and they sent me some.

This was a 2oz bottle for guns, dont expect a $150. 00 ++ sample for engines. :D

What is Microlon and what does it do? :confused:

Microlon is a metal treatment that supposedly leaves a film in the pores to reduce friction and therefore reduce wear, reduce temperature, increase mileage----the next better than zippers mouse trap???????!!!!

Drewhenry,

You might want to take a look at a website called "bobistheoilguy.com". Some of the folks over there are pretty savvy on lubrication subjects.

On the + side, Microlon is the only oil additive that I know of that is/was approved by the FAA for aircraft engines (STC). Lifetime additive that I used in my '81 Toy-0-ta, (in '02) and got a note 6 months later from Microlon that said I needed to add a refresher ... Couldn't tell a difference in the truck, mileage or performance. Have since read horror stories about PTFE additives in lubrication systems, plate-out in small oil passages, but I'm not an expert, and if you look long enough, you can find an expert to agree with what ever you want to hear. You gun guys who see an improvement are expert enough for me, but that's not a Cummins diesel application. That's my $. 04, only $. 02 apply. :) The FAA part is some pretty good credentials.
