It amazes me how many microprocessors these new Rams have. We have the engine control module, the transmission control module, the transfer case control module, the heated seat module, the integrated power module / front control module (which controls the horn, wipers, headlights, fog lamps, park lamps), the sentry key immobilizer module, anti-lock brake module, air bag control module, and I'm sure there are others. Plus there are all the other solid-state systems that aren't actually microprocessors.
 
Badunit, Your post brings to mind the dangers of jump starting another vehicle and how important it is that your truck be turned off during the process. It's also important a person doesn't touch the open connector contacts when unplugging any of these modules - Static discharge (ESD) can kill em!:eek:
