Mid-January lunch in VA

Sorry guys, unfortunately I will be out of town. Berts is only about 2 minutes from my house though. I hope you guys aren't disappointed in choosing Berts as a host though. I have been going there for about 10 years now, the food used to be really good but has gone down hill along with the service. The girls that work there get younger and younger, and I think that has really hurt them. The atmosphere of the 50's diner is nice though.

After Feb. and the attempts to get together didn't rouse much interest. I didn't pay much attention to this thread,and therefore didn't know when and where this was was going to take place. I'm really sorry guys,I would have really liked to have been there. Merv

Mea culpa!

I forgot to inform Merv of the finalized plans. So, afterward, I stopped at his house and delivered his championship Rudy. We gabbed for some hours, and he insisted on feeding me, even though I had more than enough to eat at Bert's Diner!

All well that ends well. And Merv's ready to compete for another Rudy!
