Competition mid michigan pull in ionia, need trucks

there might be a sled pull on the 28th of this month at the i-96 speedway in ionia mi. i am helping a friend who is putting on the event gauge intrest. if we can get 50+ trucks there it should be a go. theres about 15 so far coming, mostly strokers. i am also trying to get a mobile dyno in the event for other stuff to do. if youir intrested i could use a truck count for it, and by the way, this will be a good sled not a homebuilt clunker, i think it might be nearpasses. if anyone knows of a sled that might help too. hopefully the mighty ctd can once again top the pulls.

Diesel Darryl, I would not be as worried about the sled being able to handle that open class truck, as much as I would be worried about it being able to handle that white street truck that came with you to the last pull. :-laf :-laf :-laf

If the sled can handle Diggers and Silver 03 trucks, I will leave my under HP open class truck at home and let them two tear up the sled!

i will assure you guys that this will be a good sled, not a home built klunker. i think hes trying to get one of nearpasses sleds, so it will be a good one. the mobile dyno is almost a certain for the event too. he was at the hastings pull and was one of the madder people that didnt get to see his truck run. darryl, i would love to see that white truck come and run, maybe get to the sled this time. im not sure when i will find out if this is for sure or not but i will keep pushing the subject with him. there just needs to be enough trucks to justify paying that much for a sled. anyone have friends that would be intrested in pulling????

theres going to be a lot of strokers there so we need to get some dodges to set them straight.

Only *need* 1 dodge to set the fords straight. Darryl should have that ground pretty well covered. The rest of the dodges Silver03, Digger, (i'm missing olot of others here) would be like putting whiskey on an open wound.



If all else fails the 2wd would pull the sled backwards..... I think

ionia is half way between grand rapids and lansing. i kinda need a count soon for this for ken, if theres intrest he will get the sled otherwise it will just blow off.



ron, lets get that bad dog down there, with the rest of these trucks, consider it a good version of the hastings pull, with working equipment.



well lets start counting trucks, i told him i could gather 10-15 trucks to show those furds how its done.

thats what i told him, but hes shy about shelling out thousands of dollars if hes not sure if theres going to be enough. i didnt see it to be very hard to get 30-50 trucks there. bring that white truck.

ken, from dps. hes a big stroker guy. he knows his stuff so it should be good.

kinda hope to see a lot of tucks there.

i just got off the phone with ken and its a sealed deal, it starts at 1:30 at the lakewood fair grounds on the 5th. there will be seperate classes, one is stock class... any fueling boxes but with a stock turbo, and modded, which is single aftermarket turbo any fueling boxes water meth, and more, then theres exhabition pulling, anything goes. i think the trucks to beat are the strokers there, theres gonna be a lot of em. so anybody thats intrested in pulling or knows anybody that would pull please let them know, were looking for a good turnout.
