Mark - I've got a 4 1/2" hole saw that I'll bring for the Scotty II installs. Crazygator needs it too.

Anything else - let me know and I'll try to provide.

I've got one I'm bringing, but thanks anyways... ... . CAN'T WAIT! Oo.

Hey Hans,

I forget which gauges you bought, but if they are (or are like my) Di/Pro's the pyro won't fit without some minor finishing of the pod. I took a sock, and rolled it up, then wrapped a piece of 120 grit sandpaper around the sock. Stuck it through the hole in the pod that I wanted to enlarge for the pyro. Give it a few twists, and recheck the fit. Don't get crazy, that plastic sands off in a hurry. It really didn't take too much sanding to get a nice snug fit.

Hope that helps,

Andy

NOAA/NWS:

Tonight: Periods of sleet before 10pm, then occasional freezing rain and sleet. Low around 30. Southeast wind between 8 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Saturday: Occasional rain, mainly before 10am. High near 39. South wind between 13 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

But it looks like we're too far into it to back out now. Anything less than solid ice and road closures and we'll have to bear with it. Salty water is being dumped on the highways here now.

I've been to the chiropractor. Maybe that and some more ibuprofen and a little alcohol will loosen up my shoulder.

Whatta yall think? Postpone for serious ice only?

Well guys Ive been watching all morning.

Atlanta area up to SC is the danger serious ice, we are looking at sleet tonight changing to freezing rain, then 10am change to rain. They say 1/4" around here, but due to the track of the storm its gonna miss us for the bad stuff. I bet we get sleet changing to snow then rain in morning. I am getting good at these things... ... haha

CB installed and running wide open.

Hope to see you guys tomorrow. I will have a strap in the truck just in case it is slick and someone decides to run through the ditch... . :{

The Weather Channel has a high of 43 and 50% chance of showers for Dickson tomorrow. I don't think we're supposed to get as much ice as other areas.

I'm confused on how this mount fits over the orignal now. I've got the tweeter on my a-pillar and I guess I've got to take it out and get it to fit in the new one somehow. The pod really doesn't seem like it fits well on the thing though. Maybe it will make more sense when I get down to installing it tomorrow.

I bought a 4x4 so I wouldn't have to go in the bad weather. :{ :{ Come on you big wusses! :-laf Oh by the way Gap, Shane Dillard, Chase Dillard, and Johnathan Thompson will be coming up. I got lots of tools and even a DRBIII from the shop to read any codes you might be having.

Meacham

Brewski's

Thought I let you guys know that as a token of my appreciation for the help with the gauges tomorrow, I'd be bringing no less than 24 refreshments. I try to make a rule not to buy the "light" stuff but out of my accomodating nature, I did buy a 12'er of B-Light. Also, gonna bring a 12'er of Busch.

Didn't want to have too many left overs there so know that I'll be bringing several - althought that shouldn't last long with all the people that'll be there!

By the way - the High Life's are for me. :D

Nothing works good on ice.

'cept studs and chains. Well, and we are all studs huh. ;)

Let's move the Hooters Convoy back one hour. Give the stuff a bit more time to thaw, and more sleep for the late-nighters.

So that's 8:30 at Hooters on NW Broad in M'boro. Spread the word.

And if'n you need to call me tonight--try 615 765 5522.

DRBIII Oo. You are my new favorite human! I don't know that there's anything wrong with my 3rd gen, but I want the tool to do a look-see if you don't mind!

I wanted to thank Gap for the food today, and his buddy for use of the tire shop, and gaps dad for all the laughs. Its nice to work on trucks in the dry warm indoors.

Especially want to thank everyone that helped get my injectors in. Major thanks to you Meacham... . you are the man!!! :D

I had a great time with everyone, and it was nice to feel welcome with the mid tenn chapter. I think I got a new home!

Wade, we need to hook up anytime "Dude". Awesome chatting cb radio on the way home. Hans - In looking at the map we were talking at least 15 maybe 20 miles apart... . pretty good I think! And Wade kept me in touch with all the highway running on the way home. I did run through many a smoke cloud..... were you guys playing Indians sending smoke signals again?

Until next time!

Oh yeah - Meacham we need to talk serious about whats next for my ride. I got some wild hairs up my butt now... . maybe its just soot! :-laf :-laf Maybe Twins???

Hey guys had a great time today. Gap & Joe thanks for hosting..... looking forward to more events being held in Joe's shop maybe? :-laf

Wade thanks a million for getting those )*(@# screws out when I just said screw it I'll do it later. The truck flat out HAULS now! :--) Oo.

Mileage has gone up too, but hell I'm barely even touching the pedal to maintain 70mph on the interstate and boost comes on so dang quick.

Did 2 more 3rd gear launches for some friends tonight... ..... I'm gonna have to get my tires rotated and balanced soon! :-laf

I think this will definately make the TDR mag

#ad

So tell me, how many did we have total?

Counting from the photos Got Smoke has above, and knowing who else I knew that was either there and not in the shot, or had left I came up with 24.

Nice to have so many show up and to be a part of it too!

Many thanks to Gap and to Joe Underwood for hosting again. I know where I'll be buying tires from now on :D .

We even had a guy stop in that was driving by to see what was going on :-laf

I counted several times, the highest at one time was 22 trucks. Didn't count people or dog.
