Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Hey (I don't have 45 minutes to download the video) when we get together, we should had artta get somebody to write it up for the magazine. Mull it over and such.

Our last writer had problems with the edited version that appeared in the magazine. To help reduce that problem--I'll volunteer to pre-edit and go over it with the writer before submission.

Random thoughts.

Bean is trying to work up a Diesel ONLY pull utilizing some of our local resources AND nationally observed diesel truck rules.

I'm all for David Dunbar coming back to Bean's shop in late Sept or Oct.

So now I go wrestle a NewProcess 241 DLD.

Wow!
British pilot breaks land-speed record

... Green drove a vehicle powered by two diesel engines that have a combined total of 1,500 horsepower. Each is a 4-cylinder, 4. 4-liter engine used commercially as a backhoe loader.

Green said he used only about 1,200 horsepower because the vehicle couldn't handle any more than that. The tires on the car are designed to go no faster than 560 km/h, but Green's crew said the car is capable of going 640 km/h.

Well fellows, wish me luck! Three of us and the Dodge and the atvs are heading to Colorado first thing Friday morning to ride for the week. Looks like I finally got all the bugs worked out of this truck again. Last week was a good one, 2nd power steering pump went on, and new ring gear and pinion and bearings in the rear with 86,000 miles. I hear all kind of new sounds now that the rear aint singing anymore!!

Yeah, I will say hello to everyone!! I did the rejet thing for one year, and the next I bought an EFI wheeler. The best investment I ever made!! We are heading to Taylor Park, probably 40 miles south of Aspen or the middle of nowhere to be more specific. See yall next week!

I drove a CAN-AM Outlander 800 EFI yesterday, HOLY SMOKES! that thing is quick. I'm hooked, but they are 10K too, always been a BIG honda fan. Owned several and even drove the new 680 w/ the TQ converter. Ain't a big auto fan, but about all the big wheelers are auto's. I was impressed, Then I drove the Can-Am, the honda is a pig! :D

Very fun ATV!! Hard to believe a utility quad can be that nimble. It'll snatch the front wheels up lickety split!!
