Another mud bog at Ivy Bluff tomorrow night.

The bounce bit eh, Beanster? Did you do anything with the tire pressures?

Dude just drove up with a Dark Garnet Red 4x2 Quad... . looked real familiar. And he's got some secluded land he's trying to sell. Out near Bean's Bro- Tolbert Hollow.

Blew up the spiders in it, lookin for a Detroit but no one has one in stock.

Brent Mann Trail Works Off-Road Gallatin, TN 615-451-9910 he won't have it in stock but he had the best Detroit price when I needed one back in July last year. Tell him I sent ya. ;)

Hey everyone, this is Brad on Joes name here at work. I just wanted to let everyone know that Joe had a motorcycle accident saturday. He hit a dog that ran out in front him. He got skinned up pretty bad and is in some pain. He was taken to the hospital saturday to get looked at. They cleaned and wrapped him up. He was here half a day today but I know he was in pain. I just thought I would give everyone the heads up.

Joe,

Get well buddy, road rash is not on the list of gottahaveits for motorcycling. We taught students how to go over minor obstacles in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation RSS class, but it was a 2X4, not a dog. They also taught a scheme to screw up the dog's attack timing, but theory vs. reality is a different story.

Take care Joe.

Well, Brad, sorry buddy. I just talked to Joe. He said ya'll were supposed to be working and not posting on the internet. ;):-laf

He said he's feeling pretty good. He 's got some bad road rash on his knees and elbows. Glad your still with us Joe.

If you had to choose a dealership in middle TN to do warranty work on a 2007. 5, which one would you choose?

Well, I definitely wouldn't go to Gupton in Springfield. Music City in Nashville really doesn't have a "diesel man". I think Mark (GotSmoke?) has had some luck with a dealer in Gallatin. Good luck.

Ahh... . not really. They found cracked fuel return line on my first 12V one time... that was kinda easy... follow the fuel spill... . however they couldn't find a bad intercooler boot the next go round?

What kind of warranty work is it? Do you have mods that could possibly void your warrenty? Call Meacham @ Cedar City and ask his opinion of Lebanon Auto Plaza..... mine in the past was very low... . however most of those jokers are gone now from what I've heard?

I have ordered a 2007. 5 3500 6. 7 L through Dishman Dodge. It will be delivered to Alexander Dodge in Franklin. I know that sooner or later I'll need to take it to a dealer for some sort of warranty work.

Stay away from Lebanon Auto Plaza biggest joke on the planet. Boy who walked under the ladder or broke the mirror  this club member is going to be exiled, atleast until all this bad karma goes away. everybody draw straws, les see whos next... ...

dealers, scabs, fire extinguisher

... I know that sooner or later I'll need to take it to a dealer for some sort of warranty work.

Well now, that's not the attitude to start out with.:rolleyes:

Hang around here and you'll probably find better ways to fix a truck than taking it to ANY dealer. ;)

Personally, I've only had dealer work done twice. Reflash on the 24v for intermittant stumble, done at Winchester I think--somewhere down that way. I took the TSB in and they did it quick--but charged for it. I didn't argue. It probably would have taken three days for them to do "warranty" paperwork.

I had the throttle cable recall done in Lebanon. Total muck up, but I had to go there to get the free cable. Had to stop on the way home to readjust. Then later took it all down and re-routed it properly.

I really think that dealership service is a roll of the dice. It depends a lot on the mood of the SM that day and which tech actually does the work.

That said. I'd probably try Sparta if I ever qualified for warranty work again. (that's not likely!)

Meacham is having warranty issues right now. Some sort of driveline vibration/resonance with his 6. 7l. Pretty sure he's dealing with Lebanon AP.

HEY SCABBY! get unSCABBED soon. Sorry to hear it, and glad you're okay otherwise. I helped pull a lady out of a burning car this morning. She broke up her feet a bit... had a migraine, deer in road, slapped some boulders and wound up with car on side. We got her out before the car got real hot.

Going to buy a fire extinguisher today. I could have put it out at first---and we might not have been able to get her out...

Sorry to hear that man. Hope you get feeling better. I've been there and road rash sucks. I used to put vaseline on mine to keep the junk out of it..... that's after the docs scrubbed it of course...

I just heard the news from Brad, Joe. I haven't been on here this week so I didn't know anything about it. I hate to hear that. I hope you get better soon. At least the danged dog got the worse end of it!

Get better buddy!

Cory

Hey Wade

When you had the reflash done. Could you describe the stumble? I've had a stumble since i got the truck but it only does it at 1600-1800 rpms. I've checked everything i can think of and nothing helps. It does seem timing makes it worse but adding fuel amplifies it, if that makes since.

Do you remember the tsb#?

Good job Wade for saving that women, everybody needs a small fire extinguisher in the truck, I used to have one, no where did I put that thing... ...
