Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Mark - have you ever thought about Nashville Auto-Diesel College? Dang, if Memphis hadn't of fallen into my lap and had I not known what I wanted to do - that's where I'd be right now. You seem to be mechanically inclined, and you'd already have a leg up on all the newbies going there. They offer an Associates degree program, and depending on what classes you've taken elsewhere, they might count towards that degree. Plus, you'd be doing something that you would enjoy and could make a fine living at in the future.

I have no idea what you like - I'm just suggesting stuff based on the little I know about you. You say that you're not going anywhere with Wal-Mart, but surely you didn't expect to in the beginning, did you? You make it sound like your tired of school and are ready to go to work, am I right?

If so, good luck finding something that's going to satisfy you for more than a year. My suggestion is stick with Wal-Mart or something like it and keep on going to school. You must have some idea what you want to do in life - so start from there.

Had dinner tonight with Curtis and Michael, the owners of HotRodDiesels.com at a crawfish place down near Galveston. Super nice guys. Curtis did a monster burnout when we left in his hot 02 5spd. Andy was quite impressed. I tried to lay down some rubber in my rent-a-pud, but it wouldn't get out of it's own way to do it... :(

Ahh well, check 'em out at www.hotroddiesels.com.

They got a smokin' fast 12'er fellas. :D Check out the slips on their homepage!!

Paul,

Let me know when you want the BHAF, I got it ready for you. Maybe we can meet with Andy this week, give you the filter and get our cool shirts.

Anyone have a set of 12 valve 370 injectors they do not need anymore? I might have a truck for them now..... :-laf

WHUT up?

We bought a place. Probably going into business as: Hollis Creek Antiques and Feed / Dixie Cycle Works. Shop is 6000 sq ft, but will fill up quickly.

Very close to Bean's shop, but on the main highway. We'll have room to mess with a truck or two after hours. We'll be living there too. I've got two front-ends to go through, a pump job, and more stuff on my own dern trucks.

See yall at Meacham's.

I am going to be in the Nashville area on the 28th thru the 30th looking for a place. Could someone recommend a diesel shop in the area, and are there any good places to fish.

Ron

There's Meacham Evins new shop:

Cedar City Diesel & Automotive

918 Tennessee Blvd.

Lebanon, TN. 37087

Email -- email address removed --

Shop (615) 443-3502

Cell (615) 417-0729

Next closest one that I know of is TSPerformance in Bowling Green KY... about an hour north of here.

Lotsa good fishing. depending on where you are, there are a couple of huge lakes on both sides of Nashville. Then of course the Cumberland river... . I'd recommend one of the lakes though: Old Hickory lake and/or Percy Priest lake. Think you can now get your license over the internet... www.state.tn.us/twra ...

Holler at us when you're here, we'll schedule a big lunch or something.

Wade can fill ya in on the good fishing spot's, however the only high performance shop I know of that I would trust would be Meacham Evin's new shop in Lebanon opening this Saturday! Oo.

Will need a place to dyno from time to time. Hoping to find a house within 1 hour or less from Nashville. Piston Slapper directed me to the Dickson area, but will also be looking at a couple places in Hickman, Maury, Williamson, and Cheatham county. I'm a lousy fisherman, but I always buy the beer, bait and gas.

Ron

Cheatham county is where I live. Been there all my life, and can't imagine living anywhere else.

Dickson is where the redneck's like PistonSlapper live. :p

In all seriousness, it's hard to find a place in the surrounding counties that you won't like. Tennessee is a great place to live. Particularly the greater Nashville area.

Whadda ya do for a livin? (If you don't mind me asking. )

Andy,

Not redneck, just country! He said he wanted more rural living. I told him to stay away from North, East and South of Nashville cause he'd hav to drive more than hour to get away from folks and thats where the bulk of them live.

Good fishing in Cheatham county there at the dam. Dickson has Montgomery bell state park that has 2 decent size fishing holes. The TN river is only 35 miles and it's muchas fishing!

Yeah, honestly, in the past 5 years, Dickson has rapidly become one of my favorite places to be. Small Big Town (if that makes sense).

Gap, where the heck are ya?

I grew up on the west side of Nashville, about 20 minutes from downtown. It's still pretty rural, but Davidson and Williamson counties are too pricey for me.
