Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Anybody wanna con-voy up with me & Greg Holbrook (newest Mid-Tenn TDR member, unofficial site member) to the Stanford KY truck pull on May 7th?

I know Hans and a couple of others had expressed interest in going to TS Performance's Open House on May 6th and the drag racing on the 7th..... well I love pulling more than I do drag'n so I'll be heading on up to Stanford on Saturday... . might have a truck full too... . looks like my g/f, cuz, and possibly my best friend. So who might be interested in going? Nick you headed to this one? Gonna compete?

I'm counting down the rest of the week & 1/2! Oo. :-laf

Are you pulling Mark? I'm ready to see you hook to a sled! I'm still up in the air on TS Performance's deal. Don't know about going all the way to Stanford - it's at least 5 hours away I think. I will be there on July 8 though - it's a Grand National NTPA event with Super-Semis! Oo. I've always wanted to see those things in person.

Unfortunately no, I am not hooking to a sled. I very low on $$$ right now and cannot afford to break anything because I wouldn't be able to get it fixed.

When I get a little bit of a safety cushon(sp?) under me in about a month or so I will try and hook to a sled. Until then the only pull I plan on competing @ right now this year is my KYDTR event in Aug. :(

Anyone heard what the end of the week( Fri-Sat) weather is supposed to be like. I hope i don't have to look at property in the rain.

Ron

Don't pay attention to a TN weatherman..... it's the only job I know of that you can be wrong 90% of the time and still keep your job.

If you don't like the weather in middle TN... ... just wait till tomorrow

Although my cousin is the WeatherGirl, I get my weather info from the National Weather Service.

Well since we're advertising tires, I've got 6 235/85 R16's that I'd let go real cheap to right person! Only two have any tread to speak of so they should roast up pretty good.

I had thought about taking them to Muncie, or the US Diesel Nationals  , and selling them for the burnout contest! :-laf

Ya know that Black Single Cab 3500 on EEP's website in their customers truck section..... 2 years ago that guy blew a charger winning the burnout competition @ Scheid..... on SIX 35" MUD TERRAINS! :eek: :--) I'd give anything to see video of that or to have gotten to see it in person..... I was there but I missed the contest. :{

Heehaw Heehaw... ..... :-laf

Now thats funny!

I still havent figured out how someone didnt get hauled in for smelling like they'd been drinkin... ..... just dont know how that got missed.

Oh well even though it crashed the party somewhat I still had a blast with you guys.

Sounds like we missed half the party and we still left at like 2! :{ :(

Geez... ..... oh well... ... . my brother got a ride in the beast yesterday... ..... he was all  :--) Oo. :-laf

He drives a '90 C1500... ... . he thought my truck was quick! :-laf

He WAS wanting to sell his truck and buy a newer C1500 with the newer interior, but NOW I've got him thinking about a 2wd 2500 auto! :-laf Told him I could get him a reliable 400RWHP for about 2-2500 and EBay was the first place he went when we got back to the house! :-laf

Well I finally did it.......

On the way home yesterday on I-24, traffic was slowing, so I drop to 5th gear. All of the sudden I hear what sounds like my . 45 going off under the seat. (that's my first thought  ) I even felt the hit, but when I look around, nobody's even close to me. So I pull over thinking about the carnage I would find..... nothing ... ... . under the truck... ... . nothing. I'm guessing that I hit a piece of lumber or something the size of a mule that I didn't see, and it flipped up under the bed and scared the bejeebers outta me ... WRONG ..... When I got home I found it. I had a 3,000#rated nylon strap securing some stuff in the bed and anchored to the front cleats on each side of the bed. The loose end somehow got between the cab and bed, where the driveshaft picked it up..... now I've got a nice crease and a collapsed front panel :{ . . pulled it down 2-3".

BUT...

the cleats held
