Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Hey Gap,

Get in touch with Meacham and see if he is playing drag at the nashville fairgrounds saturday night. I would love to go and see his beast beat up those ricers.

If anyone is interested in going call me and let me know, maybe we can meet up there. 615-347-3698 - work cell

Sounds like some cheap fun anyway.

I'd like to have another meeting sometime soon - maybe in early June? I'll be out of town the last full week in May. Meacham's place would be fine - man that place is nice! I made a trip over there last Friday. It would be nice to have a big meeting this summer and then one more in the fall.

$100 is out of my range for a dyno. I'd be hard-pressed to give more than $50. It's just not that important to me right now. I'll get on the one at IRP - I don't figure that it will be too much with all the people that will be there.

I just got on David Dunbar's mobile Dynojet yesterday @ TS performance. Cost was $65 for 3 runs..... however that was with TS picking up some slack.

With the bad increase in the price of Diesel David was forced to raise his prices from $65 to $75 for 3-runs. That will be the price in IRP b/c TS just picked up the slack. Sorry to be the barer of bad news.

Well it was an interesting night at the Nashville rice racer fairgrounds Sat night. I had not been yet and it was cool. Didnt have my truck, so that will have to wait to make some runs later.

I thought maybe we could have a once a month Sat night race meeting there, and run our trucks against each other if you want..... or against some other types of vehicles too.

Anyone interested in us getting together there some? Just a thought and a cool way to meet up with everyone.

Meacham - Your buddy German got beat..... 2 times hahaha! He had the little red car, no Mustang tonight and another guy was driving it too.

So what were the results? What kind of numbers are you putting down?

Met Nick tonight at the Lawrenceburg pull. He's got a couple of nice trucks. There were 4 Dodges and 1 Duramax. I noticed later that the guy was pulling his D-max with a Dodge! :-laf So there's hope for him.

my CC window now reads Dyno Certified 428HP 1014TQ  :-laf

Seein as I'm the luckiest SOB in the state, all the work AND the weekend plans were cancelled, which left me with all the time to get to Bowling Green... ..... cept for no truck... . still in the shop. :{ It just wouldn't be right to drive up in a Chrysler Sebring (rental car). I guess I could've gone, but I can't find my pink Izod shirt, khaki hip hugger shorts, or my sun visor

So, who all did make it up there with Mark? and how was it?

Let's put it this way... ..... I switched to my KYDTR shirt to be more easily identified. However, their was a '05 3500 DRW 4x4 6spd that was the 2nd Truck on the dyno and he did 468HP while BLOWING COMPLETELY through the clutch every run. :--)

He had a Ramifier Stacked with a Bully Dog PP, as well as injectors, and a 10lb baby bottle in the back seat..... he said the SBC DD was in transit! he's a local boy to me and Terry he's from Lafayette.

Shameless Plug: For Sale: Schwitzer Turbo with about 2K miles on it. Will support a mild 420-440 (I'd guess) on a 12 valve that ISN'T running major fuel like myself, or would be very good upgrade for a 24V that is running just a box and small injectors. I'm detuning quite a bit and putting $$$ back for a bigger charger. PM me for price.

Word on the street is that Meacham ran a 12. 0x. Then "broke out" of the brackets.

Dunbar will come to Bean's. Yall kick around a Saturday date to work with. Need about 20 trucks. The Fords will be there of course. Maybe later in the year. Cost should be $65ish. I'll run both of mine since the red one hasn't been on anything but Delk's Mustang.

Good numbers Mark.

Keith is taking care of me on the box. Good folks at DD. Call 'em up.

And I thought I'd NEVER go drag racing, but it's looking like I might have to make a run or two down the pavement. Too bad my "fast" truck is hampered by 2WD and a gearbox. Might run both of them.

Now back to the fishin. :p

It's a secret. shhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I don't know, I only find out after they've been. Well, I knew about this last one.

Hay, Meacham, When you going drag racing again? Oo.

Geez! I just got off the phone with Di/Pricol about a differential temp gauge. Getting information from that little Chinese/Vietnamese/Siamese woman is like pulling teeth!

I had noticed that Diesel Manor had started selling a diff temp guage in white and being that I've got this steering column mount just sitting here, I thought I would see if I could get one in black. No such luck - she said someone would call me back but I'm not gonna count on it.

What's everyone been doing?

Hey Nick, or anyone else in the know? i'm looking into a six speed conversion for my 96 3500 auto. does anyone have a transmission or other parts for this conversion, and what are fair prices for components? holler back, thanks, rob. (streetracer4747@comcast.net).

I had a "road force" balance at CCD yesterday. Good stuff. Made old, mixed tire set ride like round tires. Highly recommended, but not cheap. I'll be doing that with all my tires from now on.

Coworkers went to meachams yesterday and got one of um's tires road force balanced and aligned. While they was there, meacham took em for a 4wd launch at about 20lbs. They was a gitty as a bunch of slumber party girls praticing kissing on a pillow.

After we talked it up here at work yesterde, we run some numbers on meachams 60ft times etc and came up with the G Force rating on the 60ft. 3. 2G's!!!

Did he say when and where he usually races?

BTW... ... FINALLY, after 11 days of driving around with my butt 10" off the ground in a rental car  , got the truck back and it feels good to see over a civic again. Oo.

Vogely and Todd did a great job on the fix. They wound up having to paint the whole bed (less tailgate)... . perfect match on the paint.

When they told me that they were bringing it back from Rhino, alls I could think about was that little HP knob on the dash, hoping they wouldn't run it at 100% and fry the turbo... . I think I've got an ulcer now
