Hey Guys,

I am a new member, but have been gleaning info from the register for a while. I live in Christiana, but spend most of my time in Murfreesboro. Got an 03 Edge/Airraid and in the mood to upgrade. Look forward to getting involved in the chapter.

Welcome to the madness.

Man, you guys are on the ball!

Hey hey, welcome JMBryant! Come hang out with us next weekend!

BTW, y'all check these coozies out:

#ad

I am STILL battling over that one T-Shirt for RaceRob (man he's a nice guy and has more patience than Job. )(... and this is all my fault of coruse). While I was talking with them, I started asking about can coozies. This is what they came up with. Pretty spankin sweet I must say. Bad news is that they have a 100 qty minimum. They are something like $2. 16 a piece after setup, and shipping. Not a bad deal, I'd gladly pay $7 or $8 bucks for one. I thought about going ahead and ordering them, and then selling them at Scheids or something. I'm not much of an entrepreneur though, and don't want to mess with the trouble it would most likely be. Anyway... I just thought they were cool.

Andyman, those coozies look good. They would look even better with a cold Bud Light in 'em. I'd buy a few of them.

JMBryant, welcome to the group. I live right across from the Barfield school and around the corner from Kimber. There are several 'Boro members. I am always looking for an excuse to get together and talk diesels. Give me a shout 478-6159.

Kimber, man, I hate to hear about more trouble with your bed. I think you need to swap to a flat bed and be done with it. ;)

Looking forward to July 16 meeting.

Andy they look great man... ... but Scheid is VERY tough on which vendor's they allow at their Extravaganza. :(

Thanks. Yeah, that was a quickly dismissed thought. It was more from a "what the heck do I do with 100 of these things?... . cause I only want about 30" perspective than a money-making scheme.

Smokindieseldork,

You can exhale now, I am going Drag Racing! Me and my boy, Joe Underwood, and Richey(Ford powerstroke owner) but he's cool. He had to have a CrewCab long bed. That suckers a barge too! Joe's gonna run his truck. I might drive and run mine too, who knows, the ol stocker w/ 4. 10s. Me and joe thought about trailering our Minivans in and run them. Be funny the looks we'd get. We'd have to shoe polish our times on the windshield! :D

I'll call the ol man and see if he'll bring is 03, crew cab, dually, long bed 4x4. He's got a predator(I didn't tell him to buy it) 150hp box on it. It's pretty quick.

Oh yeah, A few months ago I changed out my governor pressure solenoid and speed sensor on the valve body to fix my second gear starts. Daggumb thing is doing it again. I aint' spending $170 to fix it again for 3 months :{ . Gonna try to figure out what it is. Dirt, fluid or just bad sensors again. Peace o crap. Gonna order a DSS steering stabilizer too. Truck is constantly line to line on the road. Bearing is shot in the bottom of the steering box.

This help yours Jay?

I've been out of wack on here lately. Been camping at the TN river for the last 5 days. It was nice. Piney campround LBL. Got stuck out on the river at 9p. m. to watch fireworks. Came a good thunderstorm. Fireworks got blew all over a bunch of boats and busted windsheilds. 30 people got injured. A few people got glass in the face. We had to beach our boat and wait under a tree for it to clear. We were 3 miles up river from camp. We had about 3 inches of water running across the floor of the ol pontoon boat. Ol lady was freaking out, boy was scared. Both anchors got hung when seen it coming across the river and tried to out run it... it was a mess. I was wetter than a busted tick. Boat knocked me down twice, trying to get it up on the bank more. We o. k. though! Good stories to tell. :-laf

That DSS brace is supposed to be the cats meow. Thankfully that's one affliction my 3rd gen isn't supposed to have.

Hey, I got about 3 gallons of AMSoil ATF if you need it Gapper. If you're gonna have to swap fluid again.

Thats about the only thing more expensive than diesel fuel this days. Amsoil! :D $1782. 34/gallon

Is meacham coming drag racing. Need to call him... I think the Plymouth GRAND Voyager can take him in the 1/8th. I'd never get him in the 1/4. Valves seals leak to much. Yeah, my Van smokes just like my truck. It's just too stupid to make black smoke though. I put rotella in now so it can smoke and stink!

Is Gap ever going to stop smoking that stuff? :-laf

Welcome aboard JMB. I'm in the 'Bury--usually not far from a soot storm.

But I've got a date with a fish this weekend--down at Secret River Bend TN.

And I'll take 10 of those keep-yer-can-cool thingies. Okay maybe 12. Come on boys, GETSUM! Oo.

1996 2500 reg cab, #4 plate, 4000 gsk, 16* timing, kdp killed, 191 delivery valves, 370's, 16cm housing, 4" exhaust, DTT trans and converter, Dana 80, 3. 54 LSD, Pricol boost, transmission, and pyro gauges, Amsoil By-pass system, ARP Head studs, Marine head gasket. Dynojet 1/22/05 ... . 427. 4... ... 1005. 8. ... ...

Looks kinda like my current set up. Cab/turbo/head differences. I have traction bars and still on the Dana 70. I've got the #4 all the way to the firewall--until I get a wastegate.

You outta bring it out and come race with us tomorrow night. Hoping there is some other diesels (cheby and furd). Like to see garrick smoke some:D

How about his one :) Last weekend...

(In my best radio voice:... )This afternoon you'll notice Jimmy Joeseph Brian Ga'p Arrington sporting the lastest in summer fashion. Notice how cool he looks in his Mid-TN TDR shirt, green shorts and matching flops. Posing with his son, and their latest catch; a 10lb bottom feeder ensnared with a cane pole & corn no doubt. The 22 second track special in the background finishes the ensamble.

Boy, what a welcome. By the way Kimber, mine is a red 2500 QC Shortbed 4x4 with CB antenna and Got Diesel? in Back Glass. You guys have any opinion on the Quad 140 box, i havent heard much about it.

Hey Andy - those coozies are nice! If I read your post right, and if they are only about $2 or so, I'd also take 12 of them too - I see where you're going with that number Wade! Clever! ;) :-laf

i'd buy 6 or 12 for $2 each. JMB welcome. have you thought aboout the tst powermax 3? i know several people that have them on 03-05 and really like them. i sell all those parts. let me know and i'll get you a price on anything that you are interested in

"He ain't heavy, He's my daddy!" What I always think of when I see that look on jacks face. Ya'll just lap it up good. Getcha a big drink... you bunch of fartknockers!

Jay,

My wifes family rags me about the orange shirts too. Ain't no telling how many pictures of me in orange shirts. Have to make it a point now. Can't get my picture made in nut'n but an orange shirt!

I think I 'll start a tradition. Taking pictures with your cummins shirt around the country/state. Be funny just seeing them big "C" TDR shirts everywhere.

The quad (140) race box is supposed to be a nice one. Paul and I both run a Ramifier from TSPerformance in Bowling Green. I've been pleased with mine, Gap and I even made a trip up there. Dennis spent about 4 hours tweaking my box. He even seemed excited to do it.

The one thing I don't know about is how the quad box stacks with other boxes. It may not be stackable. Seems like it does Timing and Pressure, which would effectively eliminate it from being a combo with another box. The TST PMCR that Nick (Cumminsman) mentioned and the Ramifier makes a N-I-C-E stack. Of course, those two boxes will grenade a turbo before you can get to the end of your street if you crank them both up. On the flip side, that's the nice part. It's a set up you can grow into... Blistering power today with your stock charger, Sick SICK HP with some other mods. That's my . 02

Also, lemme plug Nick and Meacham. Two of the best guys you'll ever meet (I'm gettin' misty eyed just thinking about it. ). Done business with both of them. Don't buy anything without calling them first.

timming
